About Cefpodoxime
Cefpodoxime is an oral third-generation cephalosporin — one of the small group of powerful cephalosporins that can be swallowed rather than injected. It disrupts the bacterial cell wall, and its range covers both the gram-positive organisms behind many throat and skin infections and the gram-negatives behind urinary and chest infections.
