537 companies hold NAFDAC registrations for 6,019 products between them. Holding a registration is the right to sell, not proof of a factory: the Greenbook names the applicant, and the plant behind a product can be its own, a contract manufacturer's, or an overseas partner's. 97 of these companies run Nigerian production lines, and 1,297 of the 5,190 active drug registrations that record a factory country are made in Nigeria. The directory follows the register rather than the word “pharmaceutical”: a company here may hold medicines, medical devices, veterinary products, vaccines or herbals, and each profile says which. Each profile lists the company's registered products, where they are made, and links to full drug information where we have it.

What the labels mean

Labels come from the factory country our August 2026 copy of the NAFDAC Greenbook records for each of a company's current registrations. Made in Nigeria — at least 80% record a Nigerian factory. Made in Nigeria & abroad — in between. Made abroad — 20% or less. Companies with fewer than three records carrying a factory country get no label.

The label describes where products are made — never who owns the company or how it does business. Registering products manufactured abroad is a common, fully legitimate model, and many Nigerian-owned companies do exactly that. Each profile shows the exact counts behind its label; if yours looks wrong, open your profile and use the correction option there.
